Charles has fourteen years of experience in commercial intelligence and investigations. He headed the international team of a NYSE-listed intelligence and security company from 2004 to 2008, focusing their speciality on the emerging markets. He established the company’s security presence protecting foreign investors in Iraq. From 2009 to 2012 he was CEO of Page Group’s global intelligence and security business where again he built a practice of investigations and due diligence in emerging markets as well as managing security mandates in Afghanistan.
He has lived and worked in Russia, the Middle East and Africa. These regions are where he has advised companies and multi-nationals on market entry and due diligence. In 2016 he set up Audere’s practice in Iran.
A former M & A investment banker with Flemings and JP Morgan Chase, Charles has considerable experience of using sound intelligence on people and local companies to facilitate and de-risk a potential investment. He is widely travelled and has published two books on his journeys Conquering the Desert of Death and In the Footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia.
