A global hedge fund required insight on an acquisition of a publicly listed local company. The task involved mapping out the acquisition process as well as delineating client actions at each stage of the process.

Audere was able to diagnose local bottlenecks facing the deal, identify the various stakeholders in both the public and private sectors, analyse stakeholder vulnerabilities and inclinations towards the acquisition, and render insight into potential settlement of a tax liability.

Audere canvassed information and feedback from numerous sources including regulators, government officials, banks, financial service providers, and target company workers. As a result of our objective and independent advice and intelligence, our client was able to reach a tax settlement and complete the acquisition.
